• 5.0 out of 5 stars from Allyssa Painter -- Great educational coloring book for toddlers! : I really like that this is an academic coloring book meant for young toddlers. Mostly what I find is either way over my 2 year old's head or just random pictures with no educational value. I especially like that this book contains pictures and matching words for shapes, numbers, and letters, as well as common words. My son is delayed in speech, and having this book to go through and point out words and practice them while he colors them makes practicing speech easier and more fun. The drawings are simple and straightforward, which is perfect for this age, since they mostly just scribble and are just starting to learn to color in the lines, if at all. I love all the different words we can practice with the book, though there are a few that I don't know I would classify as "common words" for this age (such as shrimp.) The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the section on colors. My reason is that my son wants to color his way, and he's not going to accept me saying, "Okay, honey, let's color this page only orange." He's going to color it however he wants. Which means that I can't really use that page to teach as well, and may even confuse him, because the "orange" page may actually be pink once he colors it. Now, that's not to say it would keep me from buying the book or that it outweighs the rest. I would definitely still buy this if I flipped through it in a store, and the color section in no way outweighs the good of the rest of the book. It's just not my favorite part. Overall, I think it's a great little coloring book that allows parents to have fun teaching their kids basic concepts. ( Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2021 )

I really liked this book. At first, the cover is covered with bright colors. You open the book. The opening section consists of colors. Young children are beginning to identify items and colors outside. This section, in particular, will help them to learn the names of the colors, and what things are those particular colors. For instance, the basic frog is green and would be colored as such. And so forth with different things. As you progress through the workshop sections of numbers and letters are shown. The sections of numbers and letters are big. Big Letters and numbers are easy for kids to identify. Kids can learn about colors, letters and numbers using this book. Overall this book is great. I wonder how many young kids are using telescopes or are seeing yaks everyday! If the letter of T to telescope to Y to yak was changed the book would be better!! • 5.0 out of 5 stars from April -- Fun and Educational Coloring Book for Toddlers! : My son has really taken off lately as far as learning and absorbing this information, and this coloring book is feeding into his thirst for knowledge! The pictures are large and clear, and my son loves identifying the pictures on the pages. He'll flip through the pages, point at a picture, and ask me "What's this?" I then have to repeat "What's this?" back to him, and then he will say "It's a boat!" and we clap for his success. The coloring aspect of the book is great for helping him work on his fine motor skills. He loves picking out colors for his book and helping me fill in the shapes. Overall, this book has been a great hit with my two-year old and we would highly recommend it! If you're thinking of getting it, just add it to your cart. You won't regret it! Colors, alphabet, numbers, shapes, and common objects are among the categories covered in the book. There's also a sweet surprise at the end with a certificate for finishing the coloring book, which is a fantastic incentive for them to finish it. While most other toddler coloring books might be geared towards 3-4 year olds, this is a great tool for the younger ones to develop, learn and stay busy and engaged.
